Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of LFG Golfing ("LFG Golfing", "we", "us"), including our mobile app and website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

This document is a starting point written to reflect how the Service actually works. It is not legal advice, and it should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before you rely on it in production or in any specific jurisdiction.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Your account

You're responsible for the information you provide and for activity that happens under your account. Keep your sign-in credentials secure, and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You choose a public handle and a display name; don't impersonate others or pick a handle you don't have the right to use.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add — your rounds, notes, photos, trips, and profile information ("Your Content"). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, display, and share Your Content as needed to operate the Service and provide it to you and the people you share with (for example, showing a trip photo to that trip's members or your passport to viewers you've allowed).

You're responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the rights to share it and that it doesn't violate these Terms or anyone else's rights.

Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, bully, or harm others, or post hateful, abusive, or discriminatory content.
• Upload content that is illegal, sexually explicit involving minors, infringing, deceptive, or that you don't have the right to share.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
• Attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours, or interfere with, disrupt, or reverse engineer the Service.
• Use the Service to send spam or to collect others' information without permission.

Reporting, blocking, and moderation

The Service provides tools to report objectionable content and to block other users. We take reports seriously and may review reported content. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our acceptable-use rules, at our discretion. We aim to act on valid reports promptly, but we don't promise to review all content.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties for authentication, file storage, push notifications, and hosting. Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers' terms, and we're not responsible for third-party services we don't control.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses you've granted for already-shared content, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that golf data (such as courses, lists, or computed stats) will be complete or accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LFG Golfing will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms over time. When we make material changes to these Terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bag Tag operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The specific governing law and venue should be set by the operator with legal counsel.
